Thursday is PJ day and the last day of school for the year! On Wednesday morning at 9:30 the Grade 2's will be going on one last  community   walk!  Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather. We will return in time for lunch. Please ensure you are wearing outdoor shoes that are suitable for running around in gym. You can sign up for the Library Ultimate reading challenge at the library or online!

 Tomorrow is Play Day! Please make sure you come prepared for the weather! We had a very busy day today. We did our book launch and released our butterflies!

 Friday is play day. Please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle and let the school know if your student isn't able to have a Mr. Freezie. We cannot apply sunscreen for the students so please ensure they have it on before coming to school!  Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day. Ask me about what we did! 

  Play/Sports Day Information   On Friday, June 23, outdoor and indoor Play / Sports Day activities for Grades 1-5 are planned.  (There is no school for Kindergarten on Friday but Kindergarten will participate in Play/Sports Day activities with a Freezie on Thursday, June 22.)    In line with the 2023 Calgary Stampede's theme, 'We're Greatest Together", activities will be planned to encourage the spirit of cooperation and collaboration. Students may dress in western wear on this day if they wish. ​​​​​​​ Possible activities will include things such as:  ​​​​​​​Scooter Relay Races Mission Impossible Course Balloon Chair Hockey Parachute Games Bubbles / Freeze Dance Sponge Bucket Fill Hoop & Stick / Stick & Ball Games Giant Jenga / Snakes & Ladders / Checkers / Twister Just Dance Bat Spin & Ball Kick Football Toss Balloon Toss Sidewalk Chalk Bowling The Hug & Go will be closed from 9:10 am (after drop off) until 12:30 pm to accommodate some of our out

 We started our morning learning about what an onomatopoeia is.  This afternoon we started a Saskatchewan landscape art piece. Stay tuned to see the finished product.

Dress in your favourite outfit on Thursday!    We started our day by learning about antonyms. Lets brainstorm what antonyms are: Ask me what we started doing in math. We are learning about shapes and translations.  This afternoon we were working on a very special project. You'll have to wait to see what it is!
